Plot
There has been an accident in an underwater lab and 3 chemicals have mixed to form a smoke without fire. Laser doors have malfunctioned and there are electric shocks occurring everywhere. Someone needs to secure the 3 chemicals and avert the catastrophe.
Theme - Smoke without fire
A known science fact is that when you combine Sodium Bicarbonate, Concentrated Ammonia Solution and Concentrated Hydrochloric Acid you get a splashy smoke - a smoke that is formed without any fire. The same concept is introduced in the game and it matches the theme perfectly.
Overview
"Smoky Splash" is a partial grid-based and partial rogue-like game where the main goal of the game is to secure the 3 chemicals that has been mixed to form smoke in the lab. But be careful, the lasers have malfunctioned and there are electric shocks occurring everywhere. As soon as you secure all 3 chemicals the smoke will gradually reduce and clear on its own.

Dev Comments
- The movement of the player is non-grid based and it is done purposely to introduce some difficulty in the gameplay.
- When you run away from an electric shock or laser, instead of you getting electrocuted, you are pushed away from it. This gives a realistic effect and also makes the gameplay little easy around the dangers.
- You might feel that the levels are little blurry or whitish, that is because of the smoke in the room.
- The game has only 3 levels since I had to make the game in just 3 hours and I was out of time. On the brighter side, now small kids can also complete the game easily :)

Nice plot to justify the jam theme! It is a nice game, nice asset selection and great level design increasing difficulty over time. Great job!

That was fun - the graphics are super cute - love the little floating alien scientist. It's simple but well balanced - not too easy not too tough once you learn the rythm of those shock thingies.
Very well polished - nothing much too say else :)
The music is quite interesting :D And the font is also nice. And the plot too. I got an idea of something like dash movement ability - such as "press space to get boosted in the direction you are moving". I'd be curious how the gameplay would look like.
And I'm not sure about the small kids :D
Thanks a lot for the appreciation. Ya adding a dash moment would really make the gameplay more interesting...nice thought :)
