Feedback from the Jams:

Slothcreep Games (Jezefelto)

The gameplay is fun and the controls add a nice challenge! The visuals and audio are great too! Very well done!

SSJAbatron

Nice underwater effect and great pixel art. Vibe is amazing! Challenging controls

ICE NEURON

Great design, and the artwork is outstanding! The controls were a bit challenging, but that actually added to the gameplay for me. I’m excited to see what you create next! Keep up the fantastic work!

PlasmaPuffs

The controls (for the player movement) were kind of difficult, and it took me a while to realize you had to hold space to attack. but when I got the hang of it it was actually pretty fun (and cutting enemies in half was really satisfying)!

Cat Austin-Hawkins

nice!! I like how you incorporated 2 jam themes :) cool enemy designs too!! :)

raptor9999

Cool entry! You did very similar to what we were attempting to do, but in 2d instead. We ended up with a little sea exploration project but the original intention was to dive deeper and deeper into the ocean finding more and more cool and hidden treasures.

The concept of continuing to go deeper as you progress is really cool. Would have been cool if you took the surface water away after level 1 and put a little cave top above it or something similar to show deeper. Cool idea!

I made it to level 3 before my habit of smacking into the ground started to catch up with me. Did you make the art? I love the fish animation for when they're chopped in half.

Hey! Thanks for playing. Initially I had not added health reduction on hitting the ground, but then I added it bcoz the creatures were not at all able to hurt the player when they were attacked. This made the game little difficult and adding the health bar made some sense ...before this feature was added the health used to always stay 100% :) .....regarding the art, I did not completely make it....I had them saved on my PC long back from some free asset site and I do not know who had made it ...but I wanted to use it in this game so i used it anyhow ....but most of the animations are done by me ...especially the chopping one :)

Nice animations, then! Thanks for the reply.
