Angry Pigs

About:

The Pigs have been tortured enough by the Birds. You need to provide a helping hand to the Pigs to take their revenge. You will have to survive 10 stages of battle to win over the Birds. Winner gets Banana Bread. All the Best!

Tips:

• The game has 3 modes - 'Kids', 'Easy' & 'Hard'. I would suggest to start with easy and then move to the hard mode. Kids mode is kind of practice mode.
• Birds have different levels of health, so some will need a little more smashing. Chick (yellow) < Duck (green) < Parrot (red) < Penguin (black)

Controls:

• Left Mouse Button to pull the slingshot and release
• E/Enter Key to start (default mode is 'Hard')
• Esc to go back/quit
• Touch Support - this game can be played on Mobile as well

Jams & Themes:

• Trijam #285 (Smash Things):
  • The game is all about smashing the glass towers and birds. You need to smash the birds to win.
• MashUp Game Jam 2024 (A Helping Hand):
  • You need to provide a helping hand to the Pigs to take their revenge. Help the Pigs to pull and release the slingshot to attack the birds.
• Banana Game Jam 2 (Brain Rot):
  • “Brainrot,” is a state of mental fogginess and cognitive decline that results from excessive screen engagement. You will get addicted to this game so much that you will play it again and again and then finally get "Brainrot". Also, the screen shake will help in the process :P
  • Special Object - Banana Bread: If you win the battle, then you get Banana Bread as a prize. BTW it's virtual Banana Bread, don't try to eat it :P

Why Multiple Jams?

You might ask why I participate and submit games in multiple jams at a time. The reason is, it gives more exposure to my games and also makes it more challenging for me to develop a game based on multiple Jam themes and rules.

Tools Used:

• Godot 4.3, for making the game
• GIMP, for artwork
• Audacity, for sounds

Credits:

• Artwork - Most of the art is taken from Kenny's 2D Asset Packs (kenney.nl) and then modified to match with the game art. Also, the animations that you see in the game are created by me using GIMP.
• Music - Background music is by FERGUSOHX @ YouTube. Other sounds are made by me using Audacity.
