The Dark Room

Overview

"The Dark Room" is a survival game. You are trapped in a dark room with creatures trying to eat you up. You need to escape them and reach a portal that will teleport you out of the room. But be careful, if you run too fast then the creatures will hear you and move towards you faster than usual. You need to strategically plan your moves to evade the creatures and also find the portal to escape. Every portal you find increases your score, whereas getting eaten up by a creature decreases your score. Also, more you win, the game becomes more difficult with more creatures getting added up in the room. So, best of luck and enjoy the game.

• White - Player (You)
• Red - Creatures
• Green - Portal

Controls

• Arrow keys/WASD for player movement
• ENTER to start/restart game
• ESC to exit the game

Known Bugs

• Sometimes the player/portal spawns within the walls
• Sometimes creatures are very close to the player

In such situation please press ENTER to restart the level. Doing this will not affect your score.
